"This was a lot of fun to work on and something I’ve wanted to do for such a long time. JRPGs feature such an eclectic range of musical styles, and I really leant into this approach for the soundtrack. Over the 27-track album you can hear orchestra, dance music, ambient, rock, solo piano, bossa nova, jazz, and an organ fugue. The theme that holds the soundtrack together is the emphasis on strong, emotive melodies, as is so typical for this genre."​
